We are so grateful when universities and historical societies take the time to digitize their old photo and negative collections. Below are some of our favorite photos from the William "Bill" Deming Hornaday Collection at the University of Texas Archives. They date from 1890-1940, but this post includes mainly earlier photos of Texas towns, industry, and its people.
